You should expect to receive a board that is totally functional, but it will likely have some kind of imperfection on it. Most common will be a slight twisting on the board that will flatten out when you stand on it. Other common issues are discoloration on the brown board in particular – the wood may have some dark streaks that make it look not as good as it should. Also, some boards get damaged in transit, most commonly resulting in surface scratches or indentations/dents into the wood. None of this should affect the performance of the board. Of course – if you aren’t satisfied with it, you can return it for a full refund. You are responsible for getting the board back to us. We are happy to provide you with a return shipping label to make things easier. If you use that option, then we will deduct $19 from your refund.

Yes! It comes with the same 2-year warranty as our new boards.

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to send you a photo of any boards or check to see what the imperfection is on any specific board. We are a small team and the way our logistics system works that would be really hard to implement.

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to check a specific board to let you know what the imperfection is. We wish we had the manpower to do that, but at this time we just aren’t able to provide that level of service.

Yes! The low-to-the-ground design makes the GiBoard great for beginners. Even though balancing on the line is challenging, because your foot is so close to the ground, it’s easy to get restarted once you lose your balance. That let’s you get in a lot of practice in a short period of time.

Yes! The GiBoard can be used indoors, outdoors, at the beach, in the living room, basically, wherever you would like. Since it is wood, you should avoid getting it wet or leaving it in the direct sunlight for long periods of time, but feel free to use it in any location.

Any returned item that is damaged or is missing parts for reasons other than our error may receive a partial refund, which we will inform you about upon receipt of the return. Please keep the box and all original packing materials for the return shipment.
