OFFICIAL RULES

1. Sponsor: GiBoard Slackboard Father’s Day Giveaway is sponsored by GIBBON North America,, with offices at 722 Genevieve St, Solana Beach, CA (the “Sponsor”). The Sponsor is responsible for all aspects of the Giveaway. Participation in the Giveaway constitutes the participant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway.

2. Eligibility: Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is only open to natural persons who are legal residents of the United States, and who are 18+ at the time of entry (the “Entrant”) and have a valid street address in the United States (a P.O. Box will not suffice). Employees of the Sponsor, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule, or regulation.

ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY THE SPONSOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE PROMOTION. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE, UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED BY THE SPONSOR.

3. Giveaway Period: Entries will be accepted on Instagram starting on June 7, 2025 at 05:00 AM and ending June 16, 2025 at 11:59 PM (the “Entry Period”). All online entries must be received by June 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM. All times are Pacific Time. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Giveaway.

4. How to Enter: During the Giveaway Period, participants may enter the Father’s Day Slackboard Giveaway by completing one or more of the following activities on Instagram @Giboard. Each action counts as one (1) eligible entry, unless otherwise noted.

  • Follow @Giboard on Instagram

  • Like and save our official giveaway post

  • Tag a friend in the comments (each comment with one unique tag = one (1) additional entry; comments must be submitted separately to qualify as individual entries)

  • Receive five (5) additional entries by posting a story or reel that includes a video of you or your Dad explaining why he needs balance in his life and why he should win.

All entries must be submitted by June 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST to be eligible. Entries that are incomplete or do not follow the entry instructions may be disqualified at the discretion of the Sponsor. Limit one (1) account per participant; automated, bulk or fraudulent entries will be disqualified. By participating, entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules and decisions of the Sponsor, which are final. Winners will be announced via Instagram Stories on June 16, 2025. All Entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned

5. Qualifying Submissions: All entries must be submitted during the Giveaway Period. Incomplete or inaccurate submissions may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any submission that is deemed inappropriate, plagiarized, or misaligned with the intent of the Giveaway.

6. Judging: The Sponsor will evaluate Entries based on how the nominee showcases and/or exemplifies the Sponsor’s core values of caring, inspiration, innovation, fun and integrity. Submissions should be original, honest, and relevant to the spirit of the promotion.

7. Prize: The prize is a GiBoard retail valued at 199.99. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor's discretion. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use winner's name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. All taxes, fees, and surcharges on the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.

8. Winner Selection and Notification: The Sponsor will make best efforts to select winner on or before June 16, 2025. Giveaway winner will be notified via DM on Instagram to the handle they entered into the Giveaway within five (5) days following the winner selection. The Sponsor shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winners' spam, filters, or other security settings or for winners' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within three (3) days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The receipt by winner of the prize offered in this Giveaway is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR'S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE Giveaway AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

9. Rights Granted by you: By entering this Giveaway you understand that the Sponsor, anyone acting on behalf of the Sponsor, or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the World, your entry, including, without limitation, the entry and winner's name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Giveaway, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.

10. Terms: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Giveaway. In such case, the Sponsor may judge submissions from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. The Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Giveaway, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to; multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer or account in excess of that allowed by Giveaway rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

11. Taxes: The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and other fees associated with Prize receipt and use. The winner must provide the Sponsor with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before the Prize will be awarded. No other substitution (including for cash where applicable), assignment or transfer of the Prize is permitted, except by the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of greater or equal value if the Prize cannot be awarded as stated. The Sponsor will withhold and/or report taxes as required by applicable law. 

12. Limitation of Liability: By entering the Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant's participation in the Giveaway and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Giveaway; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Giveaway or the processing of entries.

13. Disputes: THIS Giveaway IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF UNITED STATES AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Giveaway, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court of competent jurisdiction located in San Diego County, California. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than Entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Giveaway), and Entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

15. Winners List: For the names of the winners, please email info@gibbon-usa.com and in the body of the email type "Please email me the winner of Father’s Day GiBoard Giveaway".

16. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, LinkedIn or Google. You understand that you are providing your information to the owner of this Giveaway and not to Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, LinkedIn or Google.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE Giveaway MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
